Aria Pro 2 Serial Numbers

Just wondered if anyone out there could help me date and origin my aria pro 2.at has 'aria pro 2 xrb series electronics' on the headstock, on the neck plate it says 'aria pro 2 accurate bolt on system and the serial number '7101346' i have tried the net but info seems pretty slim, if anyone could help i would really appreciate it. Aria Pro II also made many cheap guitars and out right copies (clones) of other guitar brands. This was their downfall. They copied the Gibson 335, Les Paul, Flying V, Explorer, the Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster, the Rickenbacker’s, the BC Rich’s and many other heavy hitters of the day. Each model came in many different price ranges. Aria was formed in Japan in 1956 by Shiro Arai as 'Arai & Co., Inc'. Starting in 1964, Matsumoku built all of their guitars under contract. The brand name was changed to 'Aria Pro II' in 1975. In 1987, production of many lower end models moved to Samick in Korea, due to the closure of Matsumoku and rising costs of production in Japan. Diamond was a cheaper sub-brand of Aria, which moved. The serial number suggests built in the Samick plant, Korea in 1994 or possibly 2004. My understanding is that the serial numbers for Korean Aria Pro 2's follows the same rules as for the Epiphones. My view is that the Korean Aria Pro guitars are sleepers just as the MIJ ones were in the past.

- I just picked up a mint, what looks to be an 80's era Aria Pro II bass. It is the same shape and style as the Cliff Burton model, but has two pick-ups with two volume pots, a tone pot and 2 pick-up 'splitter' switches(??). For the life of me, I have no clue where the serial number is. It is not stamped anywhere that I can see. Anyone have any.
